BiblioTECH Core
Software
The
BiblioTECH Core Software
is that part of the BiblioTECH package which provides the core functionality
of the BiblioTECH System. The BiblioTECH software license covers the use of
this core software.
- BiblioTECH
Additional Software
The
BiblioTECH Additional Software
is that part of the BiblioTECH package which provides additional
functionality to the BiblioTECH System. This software is not covered by
the core license. The license to operate this additional software is
provided via a BiblioTECH Support Agreement.

SCIS Direct Cataloguing Button
- Site
A site is a geographically
discrete location. Two locations are deemed as separate sites if they
are located on separate land titles.
BiblioTECH Server
A computer where the BiblioTECH Server
software is installed and operating.
License
Top
The BiblioTECH licence authorises the
licensee to access one BiblioTECH Server and to
modify the data using any number of workstations from one site.
A BiblioTECH licence is required for each site from which the Library data
is modified.
Licences are NON TRANSFERABLE.
Searching the Library via the Standard or
Web Search does not modify the Library data so this can be done from
anywhere.
A single copy may be made of this software
solely for backup or archival purposes. Any use of this software in
violation of the above is not licensed.

- HELP DESK SUPPORT
- The Help Desk is open to receive
phone calls between 9 am and 12 noon on public school days. After these
hours if desk is unattended our answering service will direct you to
alternative methods of contact.
- Your annual
BiblioTECH
support fee includes two hours of Help Desk support, timed in ten minute
intervals. If required, an extra two hour 'Help Desk support block' can be
purchased for $165.00 by faxing a copy of your order to Bibliotech.

- UPGRADES AND UPDATES
- BiblioTECH is under constant user driven development.
Updates and Upgrades are important not only for enhanced features but
also for compatibility with the ever-changing Windows operating systems.
BiblioTECH
upgrades and updates can be downloaded from the Bibliotech website.

- WEB SITE
- The
BiblioTECH Web site will provide you with the latest
information, FAQs, details of user group meetings and access to
upgrades, updates and full installation code of the latest version of
BiblioTECH software.

- BIBLIOTECH ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE
- BiblioTECH Additional
Software is only available if support
is current. (see 'Licensing Definitions' above for details)
- ON SITE VISITS
- Annual support does not include on
site visits. If a visit is required, charges will apply. Please contact
us for more details.

- EXPIRED ANNUAL SUPPORT
- If your annual support has expired
then none of the above services will be available to you, and program
installs, updates and upgrades will not work at your site. To renew
your support you will be charged one and a half (1.5) times the rate of
all your lapsed annual support fees plus the current outstanding annual
support fee.
